Faith-building programs for every age and stage of life in the Moncton community.
At Cherryfield Baptist Church, we believe that every person — from the newest baby to the oldest senior — deserves a place to belong, to grow, and to serve. Our ministry programs are designed to meet people where they are and walk with them toward deeper faith and community.
Our Children's Ministry provides a safe, nurturing, and joy-filled environment where the youngest members of our congregation encounter the love of God. Using age-appropriate curriculum, creative storytelling, crafts, music, and interactive activities, we help children build a solid foundation of faith that will carry them through life.
We offer programming for every age group — nursery care for infants and toddlers, Sunday school for children in Kindergarten through Grade 6, and a Vacation Bible School (VBS) program each summer that draws children from across the Moncton community.
All our Children's Ministry volunteers are trained, background-checked, and deeply committed to the spiritual development and physical safety of every child in our care.
Adolescence is one of the most formative — and challenging — seasons of life. Our Youth Ministry exists to walk alongside teenagers in Grades 7–12 as they navigate questions of identity, faith, relationships, and purpose. We create a space where teens feel genuinely known and accepted, and where the claims of the Gospel are taken seriously.
Our weekly Friday night gatherings blend worship, engaging teaching, small group discussion, and plenty of fun. Beyond weekly meetings, our youth participate in community service projects, annual retreats, leadership development programs, and collaborative events with other youth groups across New Brunswick.
We believe that teenagers are not the church of tomorrow — they are the church of today. We invest deeply in them because we believe God has extraordinary plans for their generation.
Worship is central to who we are as a congregation. Our Worship Ministry leads the full congregation into an authentic encounter with God each Sunday through music, Scripture, and prayer. We draw on both beloved traditional hymns and contemporary praise music, honouring our heritage while remaining fresh and accessible to all.
The Worship Ministry team includes vocalists, instrumentalists, sound and technical volunteers, and visual media team members. Whether you are a seasoned musician or someone who has never been on a stage, we welcome those who love God and want to serve the congregation through creative expression.
Regular rehearsals, ongoing training, and a deeply collaborative culture make our Worship Ministry one of the most vibrant areas of church life at Cherryfield.

Our Men's Ministry brings together men of all ages for Bible study, honest conversation, accountability, and brotherhood. Monthly Saturday morning breakfasts, a weekly small group, and annual events create space for men to grow in faith, character, and leadership — in their homes, workplaces, and community.
